Talk to us first
Most problems are fixed in a few days. Tell us through Settings → Help and feedback or at legal@chatterhub.co.za, with what happened and what you would like us to do.
Mediation and arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, either of us may refer it to mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute goes to arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA), seated in Johannesburg, in English, before a single arbitrator.
Small claims and regulators
You may instead bring a small claim in the Small Claims Court where you live. Nothing here stops you from complaining to the Information Regulator, the National Consumer Commission or another regulator.
Governing law
These Terms and any dispute about them are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and its courts have jurisdiction over anything that is not arbitrated. Claims are brought individually; class or representative proceedings are excluded to the extent the law allows. If part of this section is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
