Why ChatterHub exists
We are building ChatterHub for Africa first and the world second: one app where a person in Soweto, Nairobi or Lagos can message, call, plan, learn and create without handing their private life to an advertising company. Every feature has to pass the same test — it must work on an ordinary phone, on an ordinary network, in the person's own language, and it must be private by default.
That is why the app speaks all eleven official languages of South Africa and a hundred more, why the Free plan is a real plan rather than a demo, and why we are building Noesis, our own A.I, to run on our own servers.
What we are building next
- End-to-end encryption, rebuilt properly. We took the first version out rather than ship something we did not trust. It comes back when it is right — and not before we say so.
- ChatterPay: send, request and split money inside a chat, the moment the regulator approves it.
- Noesis: our own A.I model, trained and run on our own infrastructure.
- ChatterMail: email that pairs with your ChatterHub identity.
- More payment rails — M-Pesa, PIX, UPI and cards — so the wallet works wherever you are.
- Communities and channels, richer statuses and a family of ChatterWork apps that share one sign-in.
How we pay for it
With fair subscriptions and, on the Free plan, optional rewarded ads — never by selling what you say. We publish what we collect, and we would rather grow slowly and be trusted than grow fast and be feared.
