What we are not liable for
To the maximum extent the law allows, ChatterHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from the Service — even if we were told such damages were possible. This includes losses from lost or undelivered messages, dropped calls, unavailable features, incorrect A.I output, failed or delayed payments caused by Google Play, Paystack, a bank or another provider, unauthorised access through a weak PIN or an unlocked phone, and anything another user does.
The cap
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of what you paid ChatterHub in that period and R500.
What is never limited
Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act or equivalent law, and nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud or gross negligence.
